Welcome Everyone.
This will be a short issue. Just not a lot to report on.
At least, I've not come across much I thought worth getting
overly excited about. Although I sure did get 'blasted'
with one product this past week. Every marketer the world
over is selling it except me I think.
There are just so many ways to promote products or build
a list, nothing has really changed in the marketing world,
only the words used to convince you otherwise and get you
to part with your hard earned money.
Think it over, has jumping from one new product to another
made you anything worth mentioning yet? Have you the time to
post to dozens of forums, click for hits, write comments on
a hundred blogs or even dink around with as many Web2.0 sites
as you can find or create?
You've got dozens of JV partners just waiting for you to write
up a short ad to put on THEIR download pages, let you mail to
their huge list and add your articles to their blogs and ezines?
If you do, you are way ahead of the 99% of the rest of us.
My point? Unless you already have a marketing plan completed,
a good autoresponder system, your website/blog set up and you
are getting targeted traffic AND you have products that SELL,
or I should say, ARE selling, you won't ever get there chasing
the next 'hot release'.
If you are always thinking you are just one step away from
success, well, you really are, if you stick to the basics. If
you suffer from Information Overload, not sure what you are
going to do next because there are 3 new promotions you just
have to have, I have a suggestion..... START OVER.
Go back to step one, your site, is it converting? Why not?
Are your ads the same as everyone else's, have you checked
your sites 'stats' to see where traffic is coming from or how
long people are staying on it? Are the search engine robots
even visiting your site? Do you even have a website yet?
Forget your email, there will always be new products to promote,
new ebooks to sell, etc., but if no one is going to your site, who
gives a darn if you have the latest and greatest.
YOU WON'T MAKE A DIME!!!!!
Making some money on the Internet is not that hard. IF you are
prepared and set up to make it. It doesn't matter what niche you
are in, the money is out there if you stay focused, organized and
do your homework. It really is, just that simple.
Plain and simple, your list will only be as good as what you can
present to them. Mail out to a million people with nothing to make
them take notice of YOU, and you'll still have zero. The newest in
ebook, video or audio means nothing if you don't have a system to
show you know what you are doing. The days of throwing up a cookie
cutter site are long gone.
Marketing on the web works, but you'll only get out of it what you
put in. The best plan is your OWN plan. Be a little different, dare
to go your own path, because what works for someone else probably
won't work for you. The basics are the same though and that is where
you have to start.
It's also a shorter issue because this time of year there
is too much to do in the real world getting ready for the
long winter. Must be so for everyone else since there were
no requested Classifieds submitted this time, so there's
plenty of room to request any of your ads.
However, I did run across this: Free SEO Tools
The point of this software is to help you optimize
your site even if your site has never seen page one
of Google.
You don't have to have the prettiest site or the
most unique product.

Another reason this issue and the next couple will be shorter
is I'm making some more websites. Yes I know, this one is still
a disaster, but I need to expand into other areas as I want to
go beyond what I've been doing.
You'll also note, I have not kept up on the Giveaways, and won't
be contributing in them for now. I'll still keep the update page
going, there are some 12 or so of them coming up. If you can, you
should still be using them to build your list, but not at the
expense of letting your business go downhill. List are important
to have, but so is having something to keep that list interested.

going.

Now, they want you to get hosting thru them, but if you know
enough HTML to do it on your own server, then do that, it's
cheaper. But with their hosting the site itself is free, updates
are done for you for free and picking your own domain name is
also free.
Plus there are internal ways you make money with it. You will
earn Affiliate Commissions every time someone uses Your Search
Engine to get results!
And, get FREE PPC Advertising of Your Search Engine in Google
and Yahoo so you can start profiting right away. I don't mean
by some $25.00 vouchers toward PPC advertising, but they place
ads for you eliminating the need for your own Adwords or Yahoo
accounts.
*(Hint, not included in their material, but..) What could be
done, with their hosting account, giving you all the space
you'll need, along with having your site getting PPC
advertising for free and the traffic from it, is to include
other related products/pages by a link off your 'home' page
to the rest of your site and having them picked up by the
search engine spiders, and in effect, possibly increasing
your overall profits greatly.
Since it's a 'search for people' site, adding in 'dating' type
info would go along with that main theme. Finding dates, to
'How to on first dates' dating for men, women and even into
family genealogy. See, think outside the box, look beyond the
end of your nose. Step back and see what's in the forest
besides the trees.
Just suggestions, but as in all of your life, not just your online
world, the opportunities are there, you just have to see them.
