All well and good? Sure hope so. Got everything but TIME, right?
That sure goes by without any problem. The last 2 weeks have
sure flown by and with my lack of contact to you hope y'all
remember me.
Don't do as I do, do as I say - stay in contact with your list more
than I have you. Try to anyway. Sometimes it's very hard to keep
going, many other things in life come up, but at least send a short
message to your customers frequently. Not daily, as you may drive
them away and not with junk either, but if they soon forget who the
Heck you are, they may decide to leave.
If you give them something worthwhile when you do send messages
then even less frequent mailings can be done with no problem.
People will come and go no matter what you do, so don't worry
when someone unsubscribes, it happens to everybody.
Another way to lose subscribers and cause a decrease in your sales
is the use of worthless Bonuses.
You have seen them, some Guru launches a 'new' product and everyone
else jumps on the bandwagon and tries to sell it to you, with 'their'
super bonus if you buy from them.
Ha, I've seen many bonus packages worth less than the product (which
often lately isn't worth a darn to begin with, it's one reason you've
not heard much from me) that you can already get for free from all the
Giveaways.
I've even seen some Weird Wild Whacky and other weekly sales sites do
the same thing. Try to sell you what can be had for free. Puleeze!
So here's a general rule of thumb for you to use if you think you just
HAVE to add a bonus.
If you've really thought about it, scrounged around and tried to find something to add in as a good worthwhile bonus, but you honestly can't
find anything that fits the bill, go with nothing.
No bonuses are better than one that turns your potential customers away.
If you go over the top with hypey bonuses that aren't really offering
any REAL value, you'll begin losing your potential customers. So it's
better to go with none and save your credibility from taking a hammering.
Your bonus doesn't have to be tangible. It doesn't have to be an ebook,
it doesn't have to be a piece of software. Open your mind a little and
think about other things you could offer to people along with your
product.
Are you respected in your field of expertise? How about a free one hour,
no strings phone or video consultation, or even a follow-up consultation
to see how they've done with the product you've just sold them?
This isn't such a hard thing to implement if you have the knowledge.
Just be careful not to try to give 100 people a free two hour consultation every week.
It doesn't matter what you're selling, you can use this method whether
it's an hour free technical support, or a free 30 minute confidence
builder to compliment your main product. There are many other things
you can come up with, too, like offer a free ad placement or dedicate
one page of your website for a product of theirs to show. It's totally
up to you, be creative, be different. Just remember to keep it real!

What you get is a small piece of code which you can insert
into your web page or blog.
This will then place a small button on your page which your
visitors can use to add your site to their favourites or to
add to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Furl, etc.
You get a choice of buttons, plus there's also a Wordpress
plugin which adds one of these widgets to the end of each
blog post.
If you use PPC as part of your overall marketing, here are
a few things that are *vitally* important when it comes to
creating a profitable campaign:
1 - Exploit all the low priced traffic you can.
Use as many synonyms, misspellings and localized keywords
as you can to increase traffic. If you use uncommon keywords
you can often bid very low prices (5 & 10 cents) and drive
more cheap traffic to your site.
Using localized keywords that identifies city and/or state,
i.e., fish tanks in Orlando, will often allow you to receive
very targeted traffic for much lower costs.
Also, don't rely purely on broad match keywords. You can
triple your keyword count by using "phrase" and [exact]
match. And the bonus is that you can pay less for these
keywords :-)
Using these techniques you can often turn a small list of
50-60 keywords and turn it into 1,000 or more!
2 - Always split-test and tweak your ads!
In most cases, by testing and tweaking your ads you can
increase your click-through rates from an average of 1%
up to 10% just by making a few changes. This alone gives
you up to 10 times more traffic.
All you need do is create 2 separate ads with a single change
and test which one performs the best. Then create and test
another ad against the best performing one to see if you can
improve your results.
For example, my testing has found that removing the "www"
and capitalizing the first letters in your domain name
can have a remarkable impact on your results,
i.e., DomainName.com
If it wasn't for testing and tweaking I would have never
realized this and I would have continued to leave profits
on the table.
3 - Disable the Content Network option!
When you first create your campaign, disable the content
network to improve your conversions and reduce your costs.
Then, when you've tested and tweaked you ad to obtain
acceptable results, enable the content network for your
keywords, but bid a much lower price than you would for
keywords on the search network.
As a rule of thumb use 30% of the amount you bid for keywords
on the search network. This way you can increase your traffic
and build your profits, but at a much lower cost.
4 - Never send visitors directly to an affiliate site!
Above all, you must ALWAYS capture your visitors contact
details BEFORE sending them to the affiliate website.
Do this by registering your own domain name and then place a
capture page on this site to entice your visitors to join your
list by offering them information relating to your topic. When
they sign up then you can forward them to the affiliate site.
Your autoresponder will do that for you if you set one up to
welcome them and include the correct link to the affiliate
site.
Not only can you contact them at a later date to help convince
them to purchase your chosen affiliate product, you can also
offer them other related products at a later stage. If you do
this, you can double or triple your profits virtually overnight.

5 Easy Tips to Doubling Your Email Open Rates
It seems that one of the biggest problems a lot of people have is
getting their readers to open emails.
Hey, you can be promoting the best product on the internet, and
have the most compelling cash sucking email copy of all time...
...but if you haven't got a compelling subject line that gets the
email opened, it all counts for nothing.
So here are 5 tips for writing effective email subject lines that
could DOUBLE the open rates on your next email.
#1: Use personalization for added attention!
Studies have proven that personalized subject lines that contain
the name of your readers can get almost TWICE as many people
to open your email.
Ever been in a large crowd and you suddenly hear your name being
called? Even if they're not talking to you, you still automatically
look up without even thinking - right?
That's because hearing your name instantly gets your attention!
Well, sending out an email with a personalized subject line is the equivalent of calling someone's name in a crowd. It has that same
power to grab their attention.
#2: Keep your subject lines SHORT!
Through testing, subject lines that are under 35 characters have
much higher opening rates than those with subject lines longer
than 35 characters.
So keep it short and sweet!
You don't need to explain in detail what the email is about in
the subject line, you just need to create a sense of urgency or
make people curious enough to entice them to open the email.
For example...
Richard, I'm calling it quits.
or...
Is this yours Charlene?
This way, if someone's email program cuts off the end of the
subject line (which is pretty common) you'll still get your
message across.
#3: Avoid using all UPPER CASE words!
If you sent an email to a friend, asking them if they wanted to
go out, would you type your subject line like this...
What are you doing tonight?
Or like this...
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TONIGHT?
Good chance you wouldn't use the subject line with all capitalization because it's 'in your face' and less 'friendly'. So why would your
emails to your readers have subject lines formatted like that?
The more your subject lines look like personal emails from friends
or family members, the more effective they will be and the more
likely it is they will be opened.
So avoid capitalizing each word (or the entire subject line) to increase
your chances of getting your messages opened and read by your readers.
#4: Use a compelling "benefit" to gain interest!
A powerful approach to get your emails opened is to include a
major benefit that your readers will recieve when they read
your email.
If you can tell them how they're going to save money, save time
or make their lives easier by reading your message, you'll have
the most success.
For example... Here's a $97 gift for you Amy.
And if you can, make sure you put your most important benefit at
the beginning of the subject line. This will increase your open
rates even further.
#5: Your subject line relates to your content!
No-one likes to be fooled or tricked, so make sure your subject
line is highly related to the message of your email.
If your subject line says... "Bob, make $260 in 3 hours", you
need to ensure you actually discuss how they can do this - and
preferably within the first few paragraphs.
If you fail to do this your visitors will feel let down and cheated,
and they will be less likely to open your next email.
If you follow these simple tips you should be able to increase your
open rates by up to 50% and earn even more income promoting of
your favorite products.
